  1. It is a tragic outcome, to be sure. An inexcusable act of murder of an innocent man. There is no denying what issue this incident speaks to, though. These individuals committed these acts of extremely bizarre and violent behavior because they felt no sense of justice from the family courts or DCYF. The recent cases of protest, including a man lighting himself on fire on the steps of a Keene courthouse, and the growing number of petitions against them currently before the NH House Redress of Grievances Committee, affirm the dissatisfaction with the way these organizations do business. That is why they must be held accountable when they do wrong. They have lost much of their credibility, and at times, do more harm than good.

    1. You're entirely correct. DCYF and the Family Courts definitely do more harm than good, making money off the backs of our innocent children along with their innocent families. Why does DCYF have Administrative Rules when they don't have to follow them? Everyone else that has a job has to follow rules or their out of a job. Why aren't DCYF and the Family Court's held accountable for their deceitful practices? They are no better than the rest of us. In fact, they aren't even human. They have lost ALL credibility due to their own greed and corruption!

  2. They do it because it's most convenient (or cost effective) for them, and if no one is checking up on their behavior, it becomes easier and easier to abuse people. Now that people are finally able to bring these abuses to the attention of the NH Legislature, DCYF is running and hiding behind the Attorney General. Their friends do not want this information exposed, because it could very well mean civil and/or criminal liability. Actual accountability. Held to a standard like the rest of us. Those are scary thoughts when you've been getting away with committing abuses for a very long time.
